Quantum Systems, founded by a veteran and now valued at $1bn, supplies reconnaissance drones to Ukraine. Other firms include Stark (drones), Arondite (battle-planning software), and Kyiv-based Terminal Autonomy, which shifted from kamikaze drones to cruise missile work.
