The loss of two – very possibly fully laden – Russian IL-76 transport aircraft is absolutely astonishing. Sending such slow vulnerable targets into contested airspace is just something 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗱𝗼. Everyone knows that, don't they? What were the Russians thinking?
