Russian troops in Transnistria not a direct threat but may distract Ukraine

So, in occupied Transnistria, Russia has nearly 1,500 troops + 5,000-7,000 very poorly equipped and trained local “armed force”. Definitely not a direct threat to Odesa, but it might distract a considerable Ukrainian force in the south.
