On 25 April 2026, at Shagol airbase in the Chelyabinsk region of the Russian Federation, Ukrainian Armed Forces unmanned aerial systems soldiers struck several Su-57 fighters and Su-34 fighter-bomber aircraft. The extent of the damage is being clarified. The targets were located about 1,700 km from Ukraine's state border.
