Nearly 700 killed in Chernihiv since war began

Approximately 700 people have died in the besieged city of Chernihiv since Russia's invasion, according to Mayor Vladyslav Atroshenko. Another 40 are reported missing. Currently, 80,000 to 95,000 people remain in the city, down from a pre-war population of 285,000 to 290,000. Around 70% of the city has been destroyed.
