Ukrainian forces used captured radios to bait Russian commanders into sending reinforcements to a false "secure" position and sprung their trap as Russian APCs neared the treeline, knocking out two of three vehicles with precision anti-tank strikes. Caught under heavy machine gun fire, the remaining APC attempted to retreat.
