On Ukraine’s National Flag Day, activists from the “Yellow Ribbon” partisan movement raised the Ukrainian flag in occupied Crimea, specifically in Simferopol. In the city’s railway district, after Russian occupation in 2014, the flag was removed from Simferopol railway station.
