During a telephone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on April 26, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that there are no more hostilities in Mariupol. At the same time, he called on Ukrainian defenders to lay down their arms, according to a statement quoted on the Kremlin's website.
