Taira is aikido trainer and designer, but since start of the war in Donbas, she became paramedic. She created own evacuation team Angels of Tyra. As of 2019 alone, she saved >500 Ukrainian service members. Since 2020, Taira is a member of the Ukrainian team at Invictus Games 2/2
