On August 3, Dmytro Sirman, a local historian and former deputy of the Chernivtsi City Council for several convocations, died at the front. According to MP Serhiy Rudyk, Sirman went to war as a volunteer and was killed near the village of Synkivka in the Kupyansk sector.
