I recently visited Nikopol, 4 miles from the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. Iodine pills are handed out every 4 years and again at the start of the war, with stockpiles at doctors. But an accident is hard to prepare for – it could be an explosion, or poisoning of air or water
