One year ago today, Russia invaded Ukraine. This is how the 1st day of the war played out in Mariupol – a city few had heard of then. Within days it was under a brutal and bloody siege – 25k died. (Excuse bad geography – I was terrified, my hands shook all day from adrenaline)
