On 18 May, Anna Yefymenko was killed in Vasylkiv, Kyiv Oblast, when a Russian drone hit her home. She shielded her 4-year-old son Mark with her body. He is in hospital with shrapnel injuries to his face. Doctors are trying to save his eyesight. Her in-laws were also injured.
