The UK sanctioned the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Kirill, for his support of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. He "blessed" Russia’s conflicts abroad and has labeled Russia’s opponents in Ukraine “evil forces.” The sanctions did not go over well in Moscow. Watch:
