Losing a city is always bad for Ukraine, but bragging about nearly capturing Pokrovsk in October 2025 isn’t the flex Russia thinks it is. Still fighting in the Donbas after over 1 million casualties and nearly four years of full-scale war is a pathetic sight for an invading force.
