Activist and volunteer Serhiy Sternenko stated that the attempted assassination on him the day before could have been 'dedicated' to the 11th anniversary of the May 2, 2014 events in Odesa. Today marks the 11th anniversary of the May 2 mass riots in Odesa, during which 48 people died.
