The National Military Memorial Cemetery in Markhalivka, near Kyiv, has been inaugurated with the first burials. It will serve as the final resting place for Ukrainian heroes who fought for the country's independence and territorial integrity. A military funeral with honors was held for unknown fallen soldiers.
