Hungary and Slovakia Oppose €50bn EU Aid to Ukraine

Hungary, as well as Slovakia—represented by newly appointed Prime Minister Robert Fico—opposes the EU's 50 billion euro aid package for Ukraine, Reuters reports. The EU aims to adopt the Ukraine Facility, a new 50 billion euro financial instrument for the period from 2024 to 2027.
