Ukrainian environmentalist Volodymyr Boreyko died in a car accident near Kyiv on Thursday, his wife Olha Musafirova reported. The biologist was the driving force behind the ban on spring hunting in Ukraine, as well as hunting in biosphere reserves and national parks.
