In March, Olena’s house in Severodonetsk was struck by a shell. She and her five-year-old twins, Nazar and Timur, were injured and completely blinded. Their wounds were so severe that they were sent to Poland, where surgeon R. Reydak from Lublin managed to restore their sight.
