Ukraine’s PM said more than 30bn hryvnia ($800mn) is allocated to build fortifications this year. That's a big increase. To put in perspective: Chernihiv region’s budget for defences in 2023 was ~$7.6mn. This year it gets ~$40.7mn in two ~$20.5mn tranches.
