Russian monitoring channels reported that 16 Tu-95MS aircraft were airborne. Ukrainian Air Force sources had previously reported the takeoff of up to 7 Tu-95MS aircraft from Olenegorsk. Meanwhile, monitoring channels indicated that 10 Tu-95MS aircraft took off from the Olenya airbase, and 6 from the Engels airbase.
