This is Russia’s attack on civilians and, notably, on Ukrainian sports – all while the 2024 Paralympic Games are taking place. Russia's terror must be stopped – through collective action & decisions. To save people. To achieve a just peace and justice for the victims.

Russia has again attacked #Kharkiv and its residents – again targeting civilian objects, including a sports palace, a shopping center, and a hydropark. As of 6 p.m. Kyiv time, 44 people have been injured, including 7 children. The youngest victim is only 3 months old.

Sanctions against Russia are effective but take longer to yield results than many anticipated. However, Russia's self-sanctioning through its war efforts and the resulting damage to its demographics and labor market is the most effective means of undermining its economy.

As a result of Russian strikes on Kharkiv, the number of wounded has increased to 41. Five of them are children, reported regional governor Oleg Synegubov. On September 1, Russia struck Kharkiv about 10 times, causing damage to civilian infrastructure and casualties.
