The Russian prosecutorate has requested up to 24 years in a penal colony for 23 Azov captives. Nine women, most of whom worked as cooks in the Azov regiment, are being asked for 16–19 years in a general regime penal colony. The men are sought to receive 16–24 years in a strict regime penal colony, with the first few years to be served.
