On April 25, Alla “Ruta” Pushkarchuk, a mortar operator in the Ukrainian Army and former journalist, died while defending Ukraine. Alla died from a missile strike in the arms of her beloved Maksym, with whom she joined the Armed Forces after the full-scale invasion.
