У 2022 році став командиром 3-ї бригади оперативного призначення НГУ. Бригада брала участь в обороні Харкова, звільняла села Мала Рогань, Циркуни, Кутузівку. Взимку 2023 року бригада обороняла Бахмут. Навесні 2023 року очолив Східне територіальне управління Нацгвардії.
