A fair amount of vehicle use in this war is also tied to weather conditions so we are the least likely to see it in the summer compared to spring-fall. Today if you conduct a mechanized assault in clear weather the odds of anything reaching the FLOT are very low.

RF advances by simply expending large numbers in penetrating attacks and infiltration. Some % gets through and accumulates. For UA mobility is now earned more by suppressing fires and drone units long enough for the assaulting force to displace the other side's drone support.

Also prepared defenses are the most problematic for traditional mechanized assaults, which run into everything from anti-tank ditches to countless magnetic mines. Even if these vehicles can take 30-40 FPV drones, usually if they can get in to drop troops, they don't get out.

Usually there is a wave of mechanized assaults around April and then they're once again revealed to be costly and ineffective. UA defense is optimized for defeating mech assault, and much of the fight is about suppressing or displacing opposing drone teams.
