A mortar attack began. Losses were enormous: in one of the mortar batteries of 43 men, 9 remained. The rest were killed or wounded (I remember again funny video clips about soldiers shooting down copters [drones] with submachine guns during exercises).

The N-th Division of the Southern District had ONE Orlan at the time of the assault on Mariupol. The regiment had no UAVs at all. Upon taking up positions, one of the N-th division regiments discovered two enemy Mavics above it. /5

If I'm not mistaken, there should be eight Orlans in a motorized rifle brigade. A good simple machine that can, for example, guide a Krasnopol shell. Eight Orlans represents one machine for each battalion, as well as for the tank battalion and artillery division. /1
