The Russians ended up reusing a tactic they'd learnt in Afghanistan: using ZSU-23-4 Shilka self propelled AAA to escort tanks – their barrels could elevate high enough to engage Chechen fighters hiding on upper floors. I wonder if we'll see this tactic used again.
