A day to remember. Important to understand, Russia’s retreat is no goodwill gesture. Russians are forced to withdraw in the situation where Ukraine’s been steadily advancing on the battlefield, paying the ultimate price, and liberation of the region was only a question of time.

Secretary General @JensStoltenberg praises #UnitedKingdom for support to Ukraine and key role in #NATO
Here goes the assessment of Russia's 'withdrawal' by the chief of staff in the Zelensky administration.
Kyiv isn't buying it.
Russia announces its retreat from Kherson. Bad optics. Bad for morale. This is the third embarrassing retreat after Kyiv and Kharkiv.
Mykolaiv regional governor Vitaly Kim isn’t convinced Russia is retreating from Kherson. “When Russians say one thing, it means they’ll do the opposite thing!”
Wagner group's boss Prigozhin praises gen. Surovikin for opting to retreat RU troops from the right bank of the Dnipro river, calls him a noble commander. Yet to many others in Russia, this day marks the biggest geopolitical tragedy Russia's faced since the collapse of the USSR.
Kherson was the only big Ukrainian city Russia managed to capture during full-scale war against Ukraine. To Kremlin, losing Kherson means losing this war. Wait and see. All eyes are on Moscow now.
Surovikin tells Shoigu about the inexpediency of keeping the Russian group on the right bank of the Dnieper. Shoigu agrees and orders to proceed with the withdrawal of troops. Surovikin says that the maneuver of the troops will be carried out as soon as possible.
