Today I met the bravest girl Yana, her mom Natasha & twin Yaroslav were at Kramatorsk train station same day as WCK when the bombs hit. They barely survived. Amb. @OMarkarova got them to the US for prosthetics. Despite all, Yana still has a huge smile that fills your heart.

Overnight, missiles hit residential buildings around Odesa, killing 21 people—including a 12 year-old child. Our @WCKitchen team was there to support emergency crews & residents with hot food, sandwiches, fruit & water. This has unfortunately become a daily response for WCK.

Today, the @WCKitchen teams across Ukraine broke our records, producing 59,159 food kits for families—or 1,183,180 meals! Each kit contains dry & fresh items to cook for the week, and they are not lightweight (but we use bags so they can be easily carried)! #ChefsForUkraine
