Russia dropped 5,328 guided bombs on Ukraine in October — the highest monthly total of 2025, Ukrainian MoD says. The overall number since January has already hit around 40,000, matching all of last year.

15/ "I wouldn't wish this on even my worst enemy. After two days, I gave in. Not only that, I also had a head wound. But when I got out, they gave me a choice: either way, you'll be up front with the guy delivering food [to the front line]."

8/ Within fifteen minutes, nearly all of the assault company had been wiped out by Ukrainian artillery and a tank: "It wasn't even fifteen minutes later. I knew it was over. The tank started firing, and that was it. One guy just came running—here, Michael, from my group, a guy."
