As of 0500hrs, Russia began shelling Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Luhansk, Odessa, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, and Kyiv oblasts. At Melitopol airfield and Ozerne village in Zhytomyr oblast, one plane was blown up.
