It could be worse than Chernobyl. The Zaporizhzhia plant is located on the shores of the Kakhovka Reservoir, and downstream lies the Dnipro River, which flows into the Black Sea. Contaminated water and other hazardous materials could reach the Mediterranean, according to an expert assessing the potential consequences of a Russian attack on the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant.
