During a vile and cynical Russian shelling of Mykolaiv at 05:15, eight Ukrainian servicemen were killed. However, the Russian assault on the city ended in failure as Ukrainian artillery repelled them. This was reported by Vitalii Kim, head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.
