Mariupol’s dep mayor says they cannot confirm yet whether the mosque was hit by shelling. Yesterday, the council told me 86 Turks – inc. 34 children – were trapped sheltering there as fighting approached. They appealed to Turkey to call Russia and ask them to stop the assault.
