45 thousand people were able to flee besieged Mariupol so far – Ukraine Deputy PM Iryna Vereshchuk. In 2021 before Russia launched its full-scale war on Ukraine, Mariupol was home to 431 thousand people. Now it's site of Russia's biggest war crimes in Ukraine.
