On 12 April 2014 Russian troops and Russia-backed separatists seized the towns of Slovyansk, Kramatorsk and Druzhkivka in Donbas. The next day UA authorities launched a counter-offensive Anti-Terror Operation. Ukrainians've always called it the war.
