Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany Andriy Melnyk has called on the German government to supply the Armed Forces with more modern weapons than the 40-year-old Gepard tanks. Melnyk is requesting the rapid export of 88 Leopard tanks, 100 Marder tanks, and self-propelled howitzers, according to Der Tagesspiegel.
