This stems from attrition caused by Russian artillery (RU ART); Ukrainian forces (UKR) are withdrawing in an orderly fashion to pre-prepared positions while wearing down enemy advances. However, Russian intentions to cross the river and renew operations toward Sloviansk are evident.
