Kyiv awoke to about five Russian missile strikes at 5 a.m. The mayor, Vitali Klitschko, said they hit the left bank near Darnytsia railway station and Pozniaky. This is Kyiv’s first attack in weeks. The morning was eerily quiet, aside from the birds. Then explosions echoed in the distance.
