The petition to ban the party was filed by the Ministry of Justice, which, together with the National Security and Defense Council, considers the Socialist Party pro-Russian. During a court hearing, Justice Ministry spokeswoman Khrystyna Han noted that the Socialists had endorsed the occupation.
