“hey. i am sorry i am not here. m.” a friend, a fellow ukrainian, leaves this note on my behalf at a place in ukraine that i am temporary cannot visit but means a lot to me. i didn’t even have to ask. this is quintessential ukraine. this is why we will prevail.
