Persecution of Ukrainian Orthodox churches in Crimea and Donbas after 2014

25/ After Russia's first seizure of Ukrainian territory in 2014, UOC-KP and UAOC followers were persecuted in annexed Crimea and the Donbas. In Crimea, the UOC-KP was kicked out of the Cathedral of Sts. Vladimir and Olga in Simferopol. Other churches have also been closed down.
