Governor: Russian forces attacked Sumy Oblast 12 times on Aug. 16. Sumy Oblast Governor Dmytro Zhyvytskyi reported that Russian forces attacked the communities of Khotin, Mykolaivka, Bilopillia, Shalyhyne, and Krasnopillia. No casualties were reported.
