Kyiv rejected Moscow’s surrender demand on first day of full-scale invasion

On the first day of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, Moscow called the President's Office and Defense Ministry and demanded surrender, states The Washington Post. Putin's deputy chief-of-staff Dmitry Kozak was on the phone with Andriy Yermak, who dismissed the offer.
