The Ukrainian Armed Forces are likely to liberate or completely encircle Lyman in Donetsk Oblast within the next 72 hours. On September 30, the Russian forces continued to withdraw from their positions around Lyman, as Ukrainian forces surrounded Russian troops in the area.
