On October 12, Russian troops shelled the Ukrainian border, namely the communities of Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv Oblasts, using aircraft, UAVs, barrel artillery, mortars, and grenade launchers, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported.
