Ukraine’s decommunization continues. Kyiv Mayor Klitschko announces that 40+ streets and squares associated with Russia and Ukraine’s Soviet past have been renamed with Ukrainian names. For example, the popular central Pushkinska St. will now be known as Yevhen Chykalenko St., after the writer.
