The Kyiv Independent spent time with a unit of the 59th Motorized Brigade defending Mykolaiv and trying to push Russian forces deeper back into Kherson Oblast. “This brigade destroys enemies every day,” says Maj. Tsehotskiy, the 59th’s press officer.
